The ancient town is located just 3 km from Cala Ratjada, in the east of the island. The airport can be reached in approx. 60 minutes. The town Capdepera is characterised by flowers at the stone houses and narrow streets with cubblestones.
On the Placa Orient, from where stairs leads up to the 159 meter high Puig de Capdepera and to the fortress from the 13th century, is on Wednesdays market. This castle is one of the best preserved fortresses of Mallorca. From here you have a beautiful view to the south east of Mallorca.
