Son Masia is a lovely village situated in the hilly country side in the south-east between Felanitx and Manacor. In the small but lively village you will find several bars, 2 restaurants, small shops, a small supermarket, a bakery and a pharmacy, most of these are on the centre square close to the little church. The east coast with many nice beaches is only about 6 km away as well as Porto Cristo and Porto Colom with their picturesque marinas.
Felanitx and Manacor are a 10 min drive away. In these two little cities you will find everything you require, large supermarkets, many shops bars restaurants and furniture shops, especially Manacor which is known by locals as the ‘furniture city’. In Felanitx on Sundays and Manacor on Mondays there are weekly markets were you will find fresh vegetables and fruit and some of the best bargains on the Island. The international airport and Palma City are less than 45 min away by car.
In approx. 10 minutes you also reach the 18-hole golf course Vall d’Or and there are more golf courses on the east coast reachable in only 15-20 minutes. To Palma and the international airport you drive about 35 minutes.
