Cala Ratjada

Cala Ratjada is an original village in the northeast of the island with a fishing harbour that is still working.

It is a popular holiday location that is laid out to the south with the cosy sandy beach ‘Son Moll’ and to the northwest up to the ‘Cala Guya’, a wonderful beach with pine tree dunes and on some hundreds of meters enclosed by a rough stone coast.

Still parts of the residents earn their money by fishing; thus you can watch – from the cafes around the marina – the men repairing their nets or the boatbuilder repairing their boats; or you enjoy one of the fine fish restaurants. Cala Ratjada profits also from a good night life.

A trademark of the village is the light house on the easternmost point of Mallorca. From there you have beautiful views of the village, of the coast line and of the mountains the sun is setting behind. Nach Palma und zum Flughafen benötigt man ca. 1 Stunde.
