The small city of Manacor is situated close to the east coast of Mallorca and it is the second largest city of the island.
On Mondays there is a lively market around the church square and throughout the inner city. There are also numerous cafés, restaurants and shops.
Manacor has become famous for its manufactory of artificial pearls and its furniture industry.
There are several golf courses close by and the sandy beaches of the southeast coast just a few minutes away. To Palma and its airport it takes about 45 minutes.
